We are a multi-disciplinary, multi-generational collaborative that came together to address the problem of access to fresh food, particularly in under-resourced communities. Artists, designers, gardeners, and environmentalists, we believe in the power of community to address systemic inequities.

Rolling Roots was born during the depths of the COVID pandemic, when access to fresh food became a challenge and supply chains were broken. Community gardens grew more food to compensate for empty shelves, and curbside dining in restaurant sheds became commonplace.
Combining the curbside sheds with hyper-local growing in community became a conversation, then a cardboard model, and finally a plan.
